Grandma Hall's Never Fail Chocolate Cake

I found this recipe years ago and am now copying it here from our family cookbook binder. Enjoy!



Grandma Hall’s Never Fail Chocolate Cake
3 cups flour 
2 cups sugar 
2 tsp. soda
½ cup cocoa 
Dash salt 
1 cup oil
2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup hot water or coffee
1 tsp vanilla

Sift together flour, sugar, soda, cocoa and salt.  Then add oil, eggs, buttermilk, water, and vanilla.  Mix well and bake at 325 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
