Marshmallow Brownies

I found this recipe years ago and am now copying it here from our family cookbook binder. Enjoy!

Marshmallow Brownies

2 cubes soft butter  

2 cups sugar  

1/3 cup cocoa  

4 eggs, add one at a time 

1 ½ cups flour

1 1/2 cups chopped nuts (opt)

2 tsp vanilla

1 pkg mini marshmallows

chocolate frosting

Mix together all ingredients except marshmallows and frosting.  Spread over a cookie sheet with sides and bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees.  Remove from oven.  Sprinkle marshmallows over top of brownies and place back in oven for 2-3 minutes to melt marshmallows.  Marshmallows should melt fast, so watch.  When cool, frost with chocolate frosting.
