Pig Pickin' Corn Bread

I found this recipe years ago and am now copying it here from our family cookbook binder. Enjoy!


Pig Pickin’ Corn Bread
½ stick butter                                                         
2 pkg. cornbread mix (Jiffy or Betty Crocker)
2 cans creamed corn (14 3/4 oz each)
2 eggs well beaten

Melt butter in a 13x11 cake pan in a 400 degree oven.  Mix cornbread mix, creamed corn and eggs together.  Pour into baking dish and bake for 18-20 minutes.  Top should be a golden brown.  Check with toothpick.
