Southwestern Chicken Bake

I found this recipe years ago and am now copying it here from our family cookbook binder. Enjoy!

Southwestern Chicken Bake

Ingredients:                                     

• 1 pkg. Shake ‘N Bake, Extra Crispy
• 1 Tbl. chili powder
• 4 small boneless skinless chicken breasts
• 1 cup Mexican style shredded cheese 

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  
2. Combine coating mix and chili powder in shaker bag.  Use to coat chicken as directed on package.  
3. Place in 8 inch square dish.  
4. Bake 20-25 minutes.  
5. Sprinkle with cheese.  Return to oven for a minute if cheese does not melt on its own.
