My online feeds are all geared up for fall and posting all kinds of yummy looking recipes, most of them pumpkin. So, here is another one I tried that I really liked. I put this under the "beverage" tag because you can use it as a beverage topping.
Pumpkin Fluff
Ingredients:
- 1 can pumpkin puree (15 oz)
- 1 tub thawed whipped cream topping
- 1 box pudding mix
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- dash of vanilla
- pinch of salt
Directions:
- Mix all of the above together until smooth.
Marsha's Notes:
- You can use any flavor of pudding mix you like, even the zero-sugar stuff. The spices are to taste.
- You can store this mixture back in the tub the whipped topping came in.
- You can use this as a dip for apples, cookies, crackers, pretzels, etc. You can put this on ice cream or as a topping for your hot beverages (i.e. coffee, chai tea lattes, hot chocolate). This would also be good on a bagel, toast, or eat it in a bowl as pudding topped with some extra whipped topping.
