Cereal S’More Bars
Ingredients:
- 3 cups Cocoa Pebbles/Puffs cereal
- 3 cups Golden Grahams cereal
- ¾ cup peanut butter, smooth or chunky
- 10.5 oz bag mini marshmallows
- 2 Tbl milk
- optional: extra marshmallows and chocolate chips
Directions:
- Coat a 9x13 pan with non-stick spray or line with parchment.
- In a large bowl mix both cereals together.
- In a saucepan, bring some water to a boil (maybe a couple inches) and then place a large metal bowl over the boiling water, being sure that metal bowl does not actually come into contact with the water (or use a double-boiler).
- In the metal bowl, combine peanut butter, marshmallows and milk until mixture is smooth and creamy and everything has melted and combined. (The longer you cook the mixture the harder the bars will be when they cool, so for a softer bar, cook less time.)
- Gently stir cereals into peanut butter mixture and coat cereal evenly.
- Then press cereal mixture into the 9x13 pan, top with optional extra marshmallows and chocolate chips, let cool, and cut into bars.
