Cinnamon Cake
Ingredients:
- 3 cups flour
- ¾ cup sugar
- ¼ tsp. salt
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 ½ cups milk
- ½ cup melted butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 Tbl flour
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 Tbl milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
Directions:
- Mix 3 cups flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.
- Add 1 ½ cups milk, ½ cup melted butter, eggs and 2 tsp. vanilla.
- Beat until smooth.
- Pour batter onto a cookie sheet (one with sides).
- In a separate bowl mix ½ cup melted butter, brown sugar, 2 Tbl. flour and cinnamon.
- Swirl the cinnamon mixture into the batter on the cookie sheet.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes or until cooked through.
- For glaze, mix together powdered sugar, 2 Tbl. milk and ½ tsp. vanilla until smooth and drizzle over top of cooled cake.
