Fruit Cloud Dessert

I found this recipe years ago and am now copying it here from our family cookbook binder. Enjoy!



Fruit Cloud Dessert
½ lb. crème-filled vanilla cookies
1 large carton Cool Whip
8 oz. cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
21 oz can fruit pie filling (favorite flavor)

Crush cookies and spread in a 9x13 pan. Mix ½ the carton of Cool Whip, cream cheese and powdered sugar together. Spread over cookie layer. Spread pie filling over cream cheese layer. End by spreading the last ½ of the carton of Cool Whip over the pie filling layer. Cut into squares to serve. Store in refrigerator.
