Marshmallow Brownies

I found this recipe years ago and am now copying it here from our family cookbook binder. Enjoy!


Marshmallow Brownies
Ingredients:
  • 2 cubes soft butter  
  • 2 cups sugar  
  • 1/3 cup cocoa  
  • 4 eggs, add one at a time 
  • 1 ½ cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped nuts (opt)
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 pkg mini marshmallows
  • chocolate frosting
Directions:
  1. Mix together all ingredients except marshmallows and frosting.  
  2. Spread over a cookie sheet with sides and bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees.  
  3. Remove from oven.  Sprinkle marshmallows over top of brownies and place back in oven for 2-3 minutes to melt marshmallows.  Marshmallows should melt fast, so watch.  
  4. When cool, frost with chocolate frosting.
