Paraguayan Tortillas

This is a recipe that Scott got from a lady in Paraguay on his mission. She had a family with eight children, so this recipe makes A TON! If you are making this for just a couple of people or don't want a lot of leftovers, try cutting the recipe in 1/2 or 1/3.


Paraguayan Tortillas
Ingredients:
  • 3 ½ cups flour 
  • 3 eggs 
  • 2 cups grated cheese
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup water
  • hot oil for frying
Directions:
  • Mix all ingredients together with electric hand mixer.  Scoop out batter in about ¼ cup servings.  Fry on medium heat in enough oil to almost cover the batter scoops. We like to serve them with honey, butter, and cinnamon sugar.
