Peach Cobbler
Ingredients:
- 1 stick butter
- ¾ cup flour
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 cups fruit, with juice (one lg can peaches)
Directions:
- Heat oven to 300 degrees.
- Melt margarine in square baking dish in oven.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, salt, sugar, baking powder and milk together until smooth.
- Pour batter over melted butter in square dish, DO NOT STIR.
- Add fruit, DO NOT STIR.
- Bake for 1 hour or until top is golden brown. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream, if desired.
