Easy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Bake

Ingredients:

For the Chicken-

  • 1½–2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut horizontally into 6 thinner fillets)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Avocado oil spray (or olive oil spray)


For the Creamy Garlic Parmesan Topping-

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt for a lighter, tangier version)
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly spray a baking dish with avocado oil.
  2. Prepare chicken: Slice each breast in half to make thin fillets. Pat dry with paper towels.
  3. Season: Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Season both sides of the chicken and place in the baking dish.
  4. Make the topping: In a bowl, combine mayo, sour cream (or Greek yogurt), Parmesan, garlic, and seasonings until smooth.
  5. Assemble: Spread the mixture evenly over each piece of chicken.
  6. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, until the internal temp reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Broil 1–2 minutes to get that golden, bubbly crust.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve warm with rice or your favorite veggie.
