Easy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Bake
Ingredients:
For the Chicken-
- 1½–2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut horizontally into 6 thinner fillets)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp paprika
- Avocado oil spray (or olive oil spray)
For the Creamy Garlic Parmesan Topping-
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ½ cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt for a lighter, tangier version)
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly spray a baking dish with avocado oil.
- Prepare chicken: Slice each breast in half to make thin fillets. Pat dry with paper towels.
- Season: Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Season both sides of the chicken and place in the baking dish.
- Make the topping: In a bowl, combine mayo, sour cream (or Greek yogurt), Parmesan, garlic, and seasonings until smooth.
- Assemble: Spread the mixture evenly over each piece of chicken.
- Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, until the internal temp reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Broil 1–2 minutes to get that golden, bubbly crust.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm with rice or your favorite veggie.
