Grandma Hall's Dishpan Cookies

I found this recipe years ago and am now copying it here from our family cookbook binder. Enjoy!



Dishpan Cookies
4 cups flour                                                              
2 tsp. baking soda                                                    
1 tsp. salt                                                                  
2 cups brown sugar                                                 
2 cups white sugar
2 cups vegetable oil
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups quick oatmeal
4 cups corn flakes

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.  Sift together; flour, baking soda and salt.  Combine sugars, oil, eggs and vanilla.  Add remaining ingredients.  Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.  Bake 8-10 minutes.  Can also add chocolate chips.  These freeze well.
