I found this recipe years ago and am now copying it here from our family cookbook binder. Enjoy!
Monterey Ranch Bread
2 cup (8 oz.) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
¾ cup ranch dressing with bacon
1 loaf (1 lb.) un-sliced French Bread
2 Tbl butter, melted
parsley flakes
In a bowl, combine the cheese and salad dressing; set
aside. Cut bread in half, lengthwise; brush
with butter. Place on baking sheet. Broil in oven until top is golden brown. Watch carefully, as bread and brown quickly
in some ovens. Spread toasted bread with
cheese mixture. Sprinkle top with
parsley for color. Bake at 350 degrees
for 10-15 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
Cut into slices to serve.
