Paraguayan Milanesa

Another recipe from Scott's mission.


Paraguayan Milanesa
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb. thin sliced beef
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Garlic and parsley to taste
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cup bread crumbs
Directions:
  1. Heat enough oil in a pan over medium heat to fry the beef in.  
  2. Place flour in its own small bowl.  Place bread crumbs in its own small bowl.  In a third small bowl mix together eggs and milk.  
  3. Season beef with salt, pepper, garlic and parsley.  
  4. Then dip each piece of beef into the flour, then into the egg mixture, and lastly into the bread crumbs, coating well with each bowl.  
  5. Fry in hot oil until meat is browned and cooked through.  Remove from oil and drain on paper towels before serving.
